Participation as a Fully Funded Delegate Representing Greece

We are pleased to announce the participation of Spyros-Nikitas Tsamichas, in the Youth Future Summit 2026, which took place in Geneva, Switzerland, from 5 to 8 February 2026, following a highly competitive international selection under the Fully Funded Delegate category.

The Summit, organised by the Center for International Policy and Sustainability (CIPS), brought together approximately 200 emerging leaders from more than 120 countries in the global capital of multilateral diplomacy, with the aim of strengthening youth participation in international policymaking and advancing sustainable development, global governance, and technological innovation.

The selection under the fully funded scheme included full access to all high-level sessions, official certification, participation in policy dialogues, and institutional visits to leading international organisations, including the United Nations Headquarters in Geneva (Palais des Nations) e delle CERN – the European Organization for Nuclear Research.

The programme provided direct exposure to the institutional ecosystem that shapes international law, peacebuilding, humanitarian action, scientific diplomacy, and the implementation of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The visit to the United Nations offered insight into:

  • multilateral negotiation processes

  • international governance mechanisms

  • the role of youth in policy formulation

while the CERN session highlighted the strategic importance of frontier research, innovation, and science diplomacy in the contemporary geopolitical environment.

Leadership, Technology & Global Policy Dialogue

The Summit’s core academic and policy activities included:

  • the Global Policy Dialogue plenary, moderated by Festina Kurteshi

  • the specialised workshop
